Mya Louise Daisy was born at 10:45 on December 29th weighing 7lb 3oz.
My waters broke at home after cooking dinner for my dad but the hospital sent us back home to wait for contractions. These started as soon as I got out of the hospital and came quick and strong, by the time I was back at the hospital around 3am they were 2mins apart and I wasn't coping very well.
They couldnt find babys heart rate so I was rushed to the labour ward where they found her heart beat and gave me an epidural which was magical but I could still feel contractions and my legs I just wasnt in pain.
The contractions seemed to get further apart and by 8am I was 10cm and ready to push but the contractions weren't coming very often and werent very strong so they hooked me up to hormones to get them going.
Unfortunately every time I pushed LO's heart rate dropped badly and the staff were worried. I was surrounded by a team of surgeons and doctors by this time and they decided to do a ventouse delivery with an episiotomy.
She finally arrived at 10:45 and is the love of my life. I cant believe how much I love just looking at her!
I am sore from the cut but loving every min with my girl and SO is amazing with her!!
