Anyone else have these? I ordered two to try out, and got them today. Finally put one on him tonight and he leaked out of it in 1.5/2 hours! He has chubby little legs so I can't imagine it's from the legs not fitting right. Although I think that's where it did leak from judging by where his pjs where wet. Is it just not a good enough insert? Or does anyone else have problems with these diapers? I was hoping to not spend tons of money on an all bum genius stash this time around...

I bought some but haven't tried them yet. It may be the insert. They don't feel quite as thick as my other inserts.

I have the newborn ones, which have only been fitting in like the last 2-3 weeks (so much for newborn, lol!), but yes, I totally find that they are not super absorbent. I have better luck stuffing it with an insert and a prefold, but if you don't have any prefolds on hand, I would totally pick up some microfiber towels for some extra absorbency (you can find them in the automotive department at Walmart and are usually about $5 a pack):

Hm maybe I'll just stick to my trusty bum genius diapers then. I never ventured out and tried other kinds with the girls, guess this is why! Lol

I like Alvas ok but I do not use their inserts. I still use a BG insert with a hemp insert behind it.

I have tried Alva in the past and I am not a fan. Out of all the pockets I prefer Kawaii bamboo's mom label but they don't fit this little so far. Out of the cheapies I prefer sunbabies rather than alva. We normally change dipes every 2-3 hours right now with the AIO's so I'm not sure what's considered a long time at this age.. ds pees a LOT!

Logan pees a TON too, we're using disposables for now until I get enough cloth, but changing 4 diapers in an hour isn't unheard of for him. This boy doesn't like sitting in even a drop of pee lol

I'm just surprised it completely leaked that quickly! No way am i up for changing his clothes every 1.5 hours! Maybe I'll get one of those kawaii ones to try.

It's worth a shot! They are pretty big for OS dipes though so it might be a little while. DS is already 13 pounds and they still look a little big on him, idk if it's because they are too long or what but he needs to grow a bit more before they will fit him. A lot of my friends prefer the Kawaii bamboo also.. I have tried pretty much everything (Kawaii, Alva, Sunbaby, Goodmama, prefolds with covers) and they were my favorite. I got rid of almost everything else and used just those for the last year.
