I have been having fairly severe back/legpain and can't carry baby constantly on days it is bad. Sometimes even feeding or holding him hurts. He still gets loads of cuddles from my parents and hubby on those days and I will always suck up the pain and Hold him if he is upset but try to limit the lifting.

Today is a bad day and so I held him for a while when he first woke up because he was fussy but now he is calm and in his swing. He isn't crying or fussy but I am getting the "Mum hold me - pay attentionlook". I feel terrible I can't pick him up right now and that I am using the swing to babysit him until my Mum gets here.

He has a doc appointment today and I am hoping the doc will deal with my pain too and not make me rebook for that.
