If we do not pay her attention she goes 0-60 is 10 seconds. I am not one to just let her cry it out. And she loves to fall asleep on me or beside me or while being worn. She also doesn't sleep really hard and likes to suckle a lot. She doesn't always nurse when she is suckling she just wants something to suck on. She was tounge tied when she was born and we have had some latch problems so I am holding off on the pacifier and bottles. Plus the dh would just give her a bottle even when she is not hungry.
I wouldnt call B a high needs baby. Ive had one of those (my second!) and it is a complete NIGHTMARE. If she was awake, she was screaming... She never had that "sleepy newborn" period in the beginning, she was alert and screaming all the time... Had to wear her in the Moby to get her to sleep, period.... She'd wake up in the MOTN, eat, and then be wide awake and screaming.... It got to the point I had so much anxiety about that baby I had to have DH sleep with her out in the living room because I just couldnt sleep around her craziness! lol.. Taking care of her has been the hardest thing Ive ever done!
And you know what, at 2 yrs old, she is still very high needs. She is very stubborn, extremely strong willed, loud, and pushy. A complete handful.
So... Im glad B is kinda chill! LOL I dont think I could handle 2 of them in a row!
