Has your baby been sick yet? How did baby handle being sick? Did baby eat less than normal when he/she was sick?
I feel like Jacob has been sick alot. First he had croup, then RSV and now the flu. he is definitely getting sicker more than Jackson did as a baby, but his dr says that most likely Jackson is picking up the viruses and bringing them home to Jacob. Jackson had the flu first so I know he gave that to Jacob. Jacob has really not acted much differently when he was sick until this time with the flu and he wants to be held all the time. I guess that is because he just doesn't feel well and wants comfort by being held. He is definitely eating less. He doesn't want solids at all and is drinking less milk.
Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy
I am crossing every crossable that we dont see the flu in this household!
Yes, Luke has been sick twice. The first one was a mild virus at 6 weeks, and then RSV over Christmas. We THOUGHT he had pink eye, and were freaking out...but we took him to the pedi and thank god it turned out to be a clogged tear duct.
I am praying for your little ones! The flu is the yuckiest thing to have I had it once back in high school...it was bad.
When Luke is sick, he acts fine except with sleeping. He is irritable when it is time to sleep..
Thanks Kiliki for the siggie!
Kira has had a few little colds and one bad cold (might have been a respiratory infection but we were out of town and no local pediatrician would see her). With the worst cold, she ate very little and only slept for 20-30 minutes at a time for a few nights in a row. When she was awake, though, she was her usual happy self.
Oh, and she had that one day of stomach bug, where she was very sleepy and barfy/poopy for a few hours but seemed fine the next day.
Rylynn has just had a cold. It wasn't a terrible one. She acted completely normal, just really snotty and stuffy. But I did just see on my FB that a little girl from my town that is only 2 months younger than our babies is being admitted to the hospital for something. They say she's sick. With what, i have no idea. That scares me. I would be a wreck.
Hadley just started getting sick yesterday. Not sure if she has the flu. Grady tested positive for it on Friday and he's almost back to normal. Hadley seems to have a mild case of whatever it is she has. Stuffy nose, low fever. She nurses more and her sleeping was horrible last night. Tonight seems to be better on sleeping. We'll see.
