McKinley is obsessed with hers. I was hesitant on using one at first but when she was born she had to go get tests done in the NICU and the hospital snuck one in her and ever since she has really took to it. Makes it easier so I guess why not lol. She'll only have a specific kind the NUK. I've tried the mams and gum drop but she just chews on those.
We call it a Binky or a Pacifier; Evan has refused them since he was about 6-8 weeks old. I gave up on trying to give him one a long time ago; but I guess it's not a bad thing that he's not attached to one.
We call it a paci. Ethan loves his, he prefers the gum drop ones that are all one piece. He likes to chew on them, or get them between his top gums and bottom teeth then bite down real hard and then yank it out to hear the pop noise it makes.
My boys took theirs til about 3-4 mths as well, it just wasnt something they cared for. I was unhappy at the time as it would have saved me alot of sleepless nights, but in the long run It was a blessing, as I hate to have had to break them off of it. Raini seems to be following in their footsteps, she'll chew on it but its not a bottle and its not a substitute for momma cuddles at 2am. (hope we can break that one soon though..momma needs more sleep!! )
