I thought my period came back 6 weeks pp. Now according to my tracking app, I'm 7 days over due.
Nothing blood wise but I have excruciating cramps. Paralyzing at some points. Still no blood.
There is no chance of me being pregnant and I'm still breastfeeding. I had a c-section and I was worried for a few minutes, that maybe my scar on the inside opened up, that's how bad the pain was. I got over that thought quickly.

Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

I don't know why your having such horrible cramps. I'm sure the irregular periods are normal this early on especially if you are BFing.

So your not trying for another Halloween baby already?

LOL nooooo. Dh lost his job 2 days after turkey day. He needs to find a job before we think k about trying again! Plus our mobile home is so tiny, we don't have room for another.
& LASTLY! I do not want to be pregnant in the summer again. Noooo sir.

I felt like I was having contractions when the cramps starting. It was horrible. I'll call my OB if it keeps up. I'm nervous about getting an IUD now...I heard those cramps can be bad.

POAS!!!! That may not have been AF at 6 weeks pp though. And BFing can make your cycles wacky.

yes I was still bleeding from delivery at 6weeks pp... so maybe you are gearing up for your first "real" AF. Hope the cramps go away soon!

After my 2nd baby, my periods were awful. I would have excruciating pain for about 3 days prior to AF arriving. It was bad enough that I went to the ER for pain meds because I thought something was very wrong with me.

So it's probably just AF because in my experience having a baby can really change your usual AF.

Hahaha I'm not pregnant. There is no way. We've only DTD a handful of times and used comdoms.
The bleeding I had as well was to heavy for IB.

Sorry to ruin the possibility

I'm thinking its AF approaching. I also experienced something similar and I'm not one to get cramps with AF. Didn't while on BC before and didn't while we were TTC.

I had bleeding up until I was 4-5 weeks pp. Then real AF came a few weeks later with terrible cramps that almost keeled you over just a few days before.

Hope the cramps get better soon and the witch shows up like she's supposed to.

You may want to touch base with your OB or GP...I had some awful cramps that progressed into what felt like contractions...turned out I had kidney stones and a UTI. Cost me a night in the ER cause I waited to long to call the doc.
