How's a day in your life look? I find myself struggling with my own schedule and figure I probably have it easy! Especially, with only 2 and none in school yet. But I just can't imagine keeping this up for the next few years and I cannot keep my house clean for th elife of me. I'm dragging by the time I get home and I'm a slug on weekends. Here's my typical day:

5:30 a.m. Pump
6:00 a.m. Get dressed, feed/quick walk dogs (for wienie dogs, up the driveway is enough), put together bottles for the kiddoes and load up car with all my crap (diaper bags, pump bag, gym bag, laptop bag, purse....)
6:30 a.m. Feed, change, dress kids (throw in a load of diaper laundry)
7:30 a.m. - drop kiddoes at Grandma's
7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. - Commute to work
11:00 a.m. - Pump
12 p.m - 1 p.m. - Gym
3:00 p.m. - Pump
5:00 - 6:00 p.m. - drive to pick up kids
usually home with kiddoes by 7 p.m.
7:30 p.m. - Dinner & Cam's bottle
8:30 p.m. - A's bath
9:00 p.m. - Bedtime for A (we have a whole routine for this)
10:00 p.m. - Shower, Pump & feed Cam again (switch out diaper laundry - add to growing pile of clean laundry on bed)
10:30 p.m. - Bedtime Cam & me (push laundry to side and collapse)

You'll notice there is no "tv time" or "internet time" in there and I'm not even going to go into how crazy my day is at work and all the errands I have to run for that. I'm lucky if I get changed out of my work clothes before I go to bed! And this isn't even a day with A's therapy or my allergy injection or chiropractor visits. Ugh...

What really drives me nuts is this is DH's day:

7:30 a.m. - Roll out of bed
8 - 5 p.m. - Work
5 p.m. - 9 p.m. - Sit on arse...
10 p.m. - go to bed

Yep. Mine follows similarly some days only I don't have two children.

5:30a- Nurse Annalise
6:00a- Change A and lay in crib to entertain self
6:35a- Load A in carseat while frantically finish dressing myself and packing diaper bag
6:45a- Drop A off at sitters or MILs
7:00a- Work
9-9:30a- Pump
11:30/12p- Lunch
1:00p- Pump
5:00p -Pump (if I can get away...happening less and less it seems)
7:30p- Arrive home (A has been picked up by DH at 330p)
8:00/9:00p- Nurse A if she hasn't been fed already or pump.
10:00p- Crawl in bed and hope she wakes up at 2/3a to eat..also happening less and less so I don't get up to pump.
------
DH's schedule is:

6:05a- Hit alarm 3x before crawling out of bed
6:30a- Gather lunch and get dressed
7:00a-3:30p- Work
3:40p- Pick up A
4:00p-7:30p- Entertain A or feed her while I'm at work
7:45p- Pass off A and make dinner
10:00p- Crawl in bed and sleep through all of A's feedings in the night

I really wish she was still having middle of the night feedings because I am hardly keeping up with the pumping. I try to let her nurse all night until bed when I get home from work and even sometimes before work. But its hit or miss. :/

Oh, and if you couldn't tell there is hardly room in there for laundry, dishes, or DH and I :/ We'll figure it out someday...for now he needs to step it up a little and I need to keep pumping while I can.

I'm glad people are posting their blow by blow schedules. I'm really nervous about going back & how to time everything out--especially the mornings!

On days I work (3 days a week)… this is my rough schedule.

5:00am - wake up, shower, get ready
5:45/6am- wash bottles, get things ready for the day (lunch, etc.). Sometimes, O wakes up here & I'll make & feed him a bottle.
6:25am- Leave for work
6:45am - Arrive at work & start my day.
Get lunch sometime. Sometimes it's 11:30, sometimes it's 4pm. Just depends on how my patients are (I'm a Labor & Delivery Nurse.. I rather get my patient an epidural when she wants then sit down to eat)
7:30-8pm - Get off work
7:45-8:15pm - Get home. Fix dinner and/or eat depending on if DH made dinner already
8:15pm-9:45pm - Spend time with LO, Sit out scrubs for next day, shower, wash face
9:45pm - Feed LO last bottle for the evening & lay in cradle
10:15pm - Lights out.

Again, very rough schedule. Some days flow better than others. It's helping a LOT that my mom is coming to our house right now to watch LO. DH just has to get off work & come home.. not even pick up LO. I'm sure it's going to change when we take LO out to my moms instead of her coming here.

It's kind of fun seeing what everyone else's schedules look like.

And just as an aside, I consider "Stay at Home Mommy" to be a full time job as well so feel free to chime in with what your days look like!

I'm doing the stay at home mom thing for now. I'll post my day, it's no where near as hectic as you guys. Here's how most days go.

6:30am- Frankie wakes up, I try to breastfeed him at this time, if he'll take the boob, if not a bottle (he will nurse from one boob or only take a few oz of a bottle, over 30 mins)

7 am- Frankie usually falls asleep during his feeding. I lay him down in the crib and go make breakfast.

7:20 am- Frankie usually wakes up, I change him and bring him down stairs. If I haven't eaten, I eat with him sitting on my lap.

7:30- Give Frankie more to eat. Finish the bottle from earlier.

8:00-Change Frankie. Then playtime. Try to use the play mat, do tummy time. Watch some Nick Jr

9:30/10:00am- Frankie falls asleep. Put him in the crib.

10:00-12:00- I straighten the living room. Clean kitchen, do dishes. Laundry. Take a shower. Start to get lunch ready for me and DH. Fix a bottle and put it on the low setting in the warmer.

12:00-1:00 pm- Frankie wakes up.He's changed. He eats. I eat lunch with him on my lap.

1:00-3:00pm- Play time. Bath time (every other day). Story time. Or if it's a day where I have things to do, we run errands.

3:00- Frankie eats

3:30- 5 pm- Frankie sleeps. I'll try to clean more or watch a little TV. If it's my day, I'll make dinner.

5pm- John is done work

5pm-8pm- Frankie eats. DH and I eat. Daddy and son time

8pm-10:30pm- Frankie sleeps. DH and I spend some time together.

10:30-11:00pm-Frankie eats and falls right back to sleep.

11:00- 6:30 am- We all sleep

DH schedule:

6:30am-He hears Frankie making noise. He gets up, changes his diaper and brings him to me to sleep

6:30-8:00am- Showers and gets dressed for the day. Eats breakfast and watches TV

8:00am -noon- work (works downstairs)

noon-1pm-lunch

1pm-4/5pm- work

5pm-8pm-Makes dinner and cleans kitchen on his days. Plays with Frankie

8-10:30- Watches TV. Finishes work stuff if needed.

10:30-11:00- He usually does this feeding.

11:00-6 am sleep

My day is pretty similar except I don't pump. But here it is:

6:00am: Wake up and feed and change Emma.
6:30am: Let dogs out, get dressed, and let dogs back in (Thank goodness for our fenced in back yard).
6:45am: Do make up and fix hair (I'm quick with this too thankfully).
7:00am: Wake up DS and get him dressed. Then get Emma dressed. Fix DS's lunchbox if this is a school day.
7:20am: Take kids to grandma's house (really just in my backyard).
7:20am - 8:00am: Commute to work.
8:00am - 11:00am: Work
11:00am - 12:00pm: Lunch break
12:00pm - 5:00pm: More work
5:00pm - 5:30pm: Commute home and get kids from grandma's house.
6:00pm: One of us cooks dinner if DH is home. If not, I feed DS and find something for myself.
Somewhere between 7:00pm and 8:00pm: Bathe DS or Emma (I alternate nights).
9:00pm: Put DS to bed. Argue with him over getting in my bed and finally convince him to get in his own (but he ends up in mine sometime during the night anyway). If Emma is asleep, I'll put her to bed too around this time.
9:30pm: Feed cat, feed dogs (if bowl is empty- they free-feed), scoop cat litter. Let dogs out. Let dogs back in. Then get in the shower. If Emma is not asleep, she goes in the bouncer while I shower.
10:00pm: Maybe get some computer time in.
11:00pm: Go to bed.

Sheesh. I just made myself tired typing that out.

I have 2 different schedules. So here is Wed-Fri.

4:00am alarm goes off I feed Nathaniel.
4:30 - 5:30 get up shower and get ready for work.
5:30 - 6 pump.
6 - 6:30 make my lunch, get kids clothes together, start a load of dishes or laundry.
6:30 - 7 go pick up babysitter.
7:15 leave for work.
11:30-12 pump and eat lunch.
3:00 pump if I can find someone to cover my desk for 15min.
4:30-5:30 head home, get kids in car, and take the sitter home.
5:30-8 dinner, feed Nathaniel, play time, baths.
8-9 put Garry to bed. Like Carrie we have to rock, read books, potty, and argue about where he will sleep.
9-9:30 pump.
9:30-10 dishes, house work or laundry. Whatever I can manage.
10:00-10:30 feed Nathaniel and pray he falls asleep so I can go to bed too.

Mon and Tues is the same but I get to sleep until 5 sine DH is home and I don't have to get the kids clothes together or pick up the sitter.

my scedual is kinda wierd becuse both SO and I work from home now but both of our jobs require no background noises so they arnt exactly conducive to a baby in the house.

so my week days look like this

6am-----when Connor normally wakes up for the day he gets his meds (zantac and a cream for his sever cradle cap) then we nurse/ cuddle while I surf the web

8 am---get up if not already pack for the day, make lunches, cook and eat breakfast, get Connor and myself ready to go out

11am----me and Connor are out the door we will spend the day running errands, sight seeing, at the playground, walking the mall, in the library ect while SO works

7pm--- we come home, SO makes dinner, Connor gets his meds agin

then I work while Connor is sleeping or if no naps are in sight SO will take him out for a few hrs while I work

bed by 12 (hopefully)
Connor still nurses a few times during the night
and then we repeat

Obviously there are some variations from day to day but thats the general gist of it.

My schedule is different depending upon the day of the week and if i'm in the office or working from home, and what shift DH is on but here goes for tomorrow which will be my roughest day of the week:
3-4 am- nurse M(she usually wakes up around 3 or 4am nurses and falls right back asleep)
4:30 am-alarm goes off( usually I've just fallen back to sleep)
4:30 I shower at night now on the days i'm in the office and just do a quick wash up in the morning, attempt to do hair, and get dressed
5:00 Pump
5:20 let dog out and watch him out the back window(he's usually really good unless he sees the neighbors cat) while i frantically get everything ready to take with me to work(diaper bag, bottles, pump, laptop bag, purse) and load everything in car

5:50 Wake up M and change her, put her in car seat
6 ish drop M off at grandma's(on the days she can watch her)
6-7:00 or 7:20ish Commute to work
10 Pump
12-12:30 lunch
2:00 Pump
4:45 or 5 ish Pick up M from grandma's
6 will usually arrive home at this time and play or read to M
6:30 attempt to start dinner(or order out-lol) Pump while dinner is cooking and entertain M at the same time while she sits in her bouncer
7:00 Attempt to nurse M, and give her a bottle afterwards(she usually only nurses at night)
7:30 eat dinner
7:50 Change M and wipe her down( since I'm not in the office that much I won't fully bath her on the days I have to go in)
8:30 Pump, get laptop set up at home for work the next day
9:30ish will usually pass out during the first few minutes of watching tv
