Any ideas for healthy "snacks/mini-meals" for a nursing mom? I am basically hungry 24x7. I find if I don't keep myself moderately "full", then I eat anything and everything I can get my hands on. Anyone have any suggestions for healthy "satisfying" snacks? I already do cottage cheese and peaches as a snack at work, but there is only so much of that you can eat. I need to branch out. Suggestions?

I decided not to buy any junk food at all so as to not be tempted. Here's what we have instead.

Mozzarella cheese sticks, yogurts, an abundance of fruit and veggies, whole wheat bread with nut butters, nuts and seeds, triscuits, oatmeal, air popped popcorn.

I'm finding I feel fuller after having switched to whole wheat in my breads and pastas and drinking a lot of water helps too. I drink 4-5 liters a day. I'm also trying juicing to get in more veggies.

Sarah - We bought a Nutri-bullet and have been doing veggie/fruit smoothies daily. I need one of those at work!

Hummus and veggies is always filling to me. I do oatmeal to when I'm trying to watch as it fills me up quite a bit.... trying to think of other ideas.... i need to get back into the healthy routine!!
