For all of you whose November cub was not your first, do you ever feel like you aren't giving them the same kind of attention as their predecessors? Akadia was and still is the center of the universe. Not necessarily by my choice, but because she is sooo needy and hyper and takes a lot of my energy. Cam is so easy and I feel really bad that I don't get more time to just dote on her. It's completely different then when Akadia was our "first" and everything was about her. Now, I have to fight for some time with just Cambria and I'm always feeling like it's never enough. I know she is a super happy baby and is doing well, but her whole "babyhood" just doesn't seem as special as Akadia's was. I know there really isn't any answer to how I'm feeling about this, just been a little down because her time as a little baby has gone so fast and even though I've been there the whole time, I feel like I am somehow missing out. Ok, book done!

I always feel like all my older kids lack the attention and time they all need and deserve. The older 2 I am sure get the worst of it since they are more independent. I forget a lot that they still need thier mommy. Between 4 kids I feel like I can barely keep my head above the water.

One good thing about us all being home together is that there is never really anything that we don't all do together. I wish I could do some more individual stuff with each of them, but they all seem to understand that things are just hectic right now. I actually think the three older ones are glad I'm so occupied with Norah because they are getting a lot more free time from school and chores. But Norah also has times when I just can't attend to her as well as I would like to. Fortunately there are enough other people here to entertain her, which she loves.

That's how I feel, only with 3. My older two are just so independent. Then I also feel guilty about William because I have to drag him to all these places and functions.
