I knew it would happen, I just knew it. No sooner are my kids back in daycare ONE WEEK than they both come down with the crud.
Willa has nasal congestion and a nice cough, while DD1 is fighting a harsher version with oodles of mucus and a nice fever of 102...for three days in a row. I can talk about this now because they're mostly past it, but seriously last week was fan-freaking-tastic. Particularly since DH also came down with it, so I was nursing three babies. And my mom asks me, "How are YOU feeling, dear?" Well mom, I'm fine. This cold can go to hell because I simply don't have time to get sick.
And that's just the way of it for us mommies, right?
Has anyone else had to deal with sick kiddos already?
Maggie - Proud Mommy to Marlowe & Willamina
Knock wood we've avoided everything so far... we've been total hermits though - DH works from home, I'm not done with leave, we're not putting Regan in daycare, and we've stayed away from anyone that's even been recently exposed to anything. I know that it will happen eventually and I dread it! I'm hoping that we won't be using any kind of school or daycare until after all our babies are over a year.
