He has been sick for a wk. What a way to celebrate his 6 mo b-day. Turns out he had/has RSV which turned into an ear infection today. The good news is that he was x-rayed on Sat. and his lungs were clear & they were still clear today when the dr. listened. I am so ready for my happy baby back.
We had just started him on solids before he got sick so it has been back to ebf. Usually every 2hrs. He nurses but not as well or long as normal. At least he didn't get dehyrdrated which I was told frequently happens.
My little chunky monkey weighed 19lbs 8oz. I'm curious to find out his height but we don't go in for his 6mo check up until 3-11. He is now wearing 12mo size clothes now. He is going through the sizes so quick he hardly gets to wear all the clothes he has.
Wouldn't you know, the weather this month has been pretty mild and just when he is sick we get 4 in of sleet so the girls were out of school for 2 days (after having a 4 day wkend) then now 8 in of snow and another 2 days out. On Sat. I had to take Luke to the er and couldn't even get my car out of our drive. Luckily my bf has a 4X4 and took us. Then today bf dh watched the girls so my dh could drive & we didn't have to drag the girls to the dr too. It seems like illnesses always happen on wkends or bad weather. Oh well, could have been worse.
