If you could keep my grandfather in your thoughts I'd really appreciate it. He had a heart attack last, or at least that's what the hospital thinks. He was on the phone with my uncle complaining of chest pain and shortness of breath, my uncle called an ambulance and he was taken to the hospital. Apparently he was told if he would have waited any longer, he wouldn't be alive right now. I talked to him for a few seconds today (nurses were doing something with him and he couldn't talk long). He said he felt ok and he sounded like his old self, not what I expected from someone who just had a heart attack. He's a spunky, young at heart, crazy 80 year old. I know he has a few blockages, he may need surgery to repair. Thanks!

He is actually doing really well. He had his surgery about a week ago and looks like he will be discharged tomorrow. The day after his surgery he was already out of bed walking a little. He had some Afib and tachycardia the day after but the Dr said that was normal, he also had really low BP but they gave hime meds while I was visiting and by the time I left it was all under control. He has had very little pain and mostly feels pretty good. It will take him at least 2 months to heal entirely but so far he is doing awesome. He was one tough old man. Thank you so much for asking!
