What are some things your DH/SO is really good at when it comes to taking care of LO?

My DH is an expert at getting Caleb to burp. It takes me forever to get a burp out of him, but if DH takes him after a feeding, he gets one in like 3 pats. He is a champion swaddler, too. Caleb and DH have such a special relationship, I love watching them together

Awwww, that is so sweet of your DH. Mine is kinda scared of babies, even after all these years. Heh heh. He is good at making my LO smile and giggle though. Philip sure knows daddy.

Ditto on the smiling. DH can coax a smile or laugh out of that child like no other. It's like daddy is a giant crack-up to her.

He's also fairly reliable at getting her to fall asleep on his chest. That never works for me because my chest smells like MILK....it's very distracting.

Conner is very good at getting Winnie to stop fussing WITHOUT milk. He likes to hold her down in front of him and pretend she's controlling his body like he's a robot. Apparently, this soothes her. hahaha

DH was the swaddle king as I called him, but Em doesn't like it anymore.

DH is great at getting her to stop crying, when she's fussy. There are days when she'll just cry and cry, for no reason and DH will hold for her two seconds and she'll be as happy as a clam.
She also smiles at him so much more than she smiles at anyone else.
