Send my kid to daycare sick. I don't do it all the time - but I occasionally send her before she's physically ready to return, i.e.: not contagious any longer. You get all of these high and mighty ideas when your child first attends daycare: How DARE these people send their kids sick! - - and then you see that EVERY parent sends their kid their with a cough/runny nose/cold...so finally you succumb.

Since I was a huge thumb sucker, I said I would never let my baby become a thumb sucker. Well, when Caleb discovered his thumb and was able to put himself back to sleep in the middle of the night in 4 seconds flat, I decided I wasn't so against thumb sucking.

I said I would never let my kid watch TV before the age of 3, and after that just sparingly. But Caleb enjoys hanging out with me and watching TV, so we do sometimes.

I said I would never put any of my kids on those "leashes" (harnesses). But when you have a 3, 2 and newborn....it's necessary to keep them safe and WITH you and out of the roads on walks. I just ignore the "stunned looks" and the whispers of 'omg SHE PUTS HER KID ON A LEASH!"

I said I would never have her in our bed, and while she doesn't for the most part, the last couple weeks I started occasionally bringing her in with me when DH leaves for work and we cuddle for awhile and nap a bit longer before getting up.

Give him a pacifier all the time. But he actually doesn't like it anymore so not bad.

Let him sleep in our bed. And he doesn't for the most part, but naps on occasion and Saturday mornings when I want more sleep and snuggles.

Let him CIO. I hate it and wish we didn't, but sometimes when we have tried everything else and I am about to lose my sanity I just have to.

I said I would never spoil her as much as I did Hannah, but I can't help it I love my girls.

I said I would never be able to breast feed but I did for 2 months.

I said I would never be that mom that gets frustrated at her baby, but sadly sometimes I do and then I get frustrated at myself.

Am I the only one who didn't have a list of things I wouldn't do with baby? I had no clue what would and wouldn't work - or what I would want to do once she got her. Clearly you guys are a lot more thoughtful than me

(Im still holding out hope I dont need a leash for her later on but I wont say never)

I never had things I said I wouldn't do. But then I'm really chill, and not worried about stuff. If she is still using her paci by her first birthday, I'll toss it. No biggie.
