Genevieve seems to be spitting up quite a bit lately. I just fed her and she spit up 10 minutes later. She does it all day long.
She's been getting formula when I'm at work. I can't keep up the pumping. I only get ONE 15 minute break a day. Not enough time to pump. So I feed her when I'm with her.

Anyways, when should I ask the pedi about spitting up?

Norah spits up a lot too. She's a happy spitter. Meaning she doesn't get upset by it. It just happens and it's more of a laundry issue than anything else.

Spitting Up | Ask Dr. Sears®

That said, she definitely has a reaction to dairy. When I eat anything at all with dairy, she will cry until she throws it all up and she spits up much more. So I avoid dairy, but she still spits up several times a day. I am hoping the link above is correct and she'll grow out of it as she is more upright.

Juliet spits up a lot too. I talked to the pedi about it and was told as long as she is still happy and gaining weight (she was in the 65% percentile at 10 weeks) then not to worry and it would correct itself. I also read (who knows if it is true or not) that the flap to their stomach isn't truely formed all the way till about 6 months and that is why babies spit up until that time. Once the flap is functional it will keep food where it belongs!

I believe the flap isn't developed yet. I hope it cartons done when she sits up more. She's not really into the whole sitting thing haha.
