Besides cereals, what will your baby's first food be? Any thoughts on what you will choose and why?

I know 'they' say to choose a veggie first, probably b/c it's not as sweet. That being said, I'll probably give Philip peas or carrots when it's time. I remember DS1's first food (carrots) but I can't remember DS2! What a mother.

Sophs first was acorn squash, then avocados, then sweet potato a now we are trying pears. Squash made her sick, so we are staying away from that for now. But she has enjoyed everything else. Her favs have been sweet potato on pear mixed with oatmeal.

I think we'll be trying banana first because they have lots of good stuff in them, are easy, and are sweet. I read somewhere that for bf babies, you should try something sweet first since bm is sweet. After that, probably avocado, though I regularly change my mind.

That makes total sense. Maybe I'll do something sweet too.

I don't even know! Probably banana or some other softer fruit/veggie since we're doing baby led weaning
