Am I the only one who has a hard time even listening to the news anymore? Every day it's another horrible story about something that has happened to a child. Today's was a car hitting a family, killing the grandparents and seriously hurting the toddler. Almost every day this week, it has been something awful, mugger shootskills baby, etc... I don't even want to see the headlines anymore. Just makes my heart hurt. It's so much harder since becoming a parent. Even shows I used to like on tv, I can't watch anymore because they deal with violence towards children and it upsets me so bad (Criminal Minds, SVU etc...)
I understand, I try to avoid the news now. It's hard to see all the terrible things going on in the world, it all makes me cry. I need to stay off facebook too, people post to many depressing. Someone posted about a little baby who passed today and then the terrible story from the sept pr, I feel sick and so down.
