Finn hasn't started crawling yet except backwards a few times but he does lift himself. He just hasn't gotten the hang of it yet.
He rolls everywhere . He leans his whole body to the side and holds his weight and he is just about to be getting in a seated position on his own. He also climbs everything and anything! LOL!
Anyone elses baby doing everything but crawling?
Jack's not crawling yet either. He can shimmy and scoot and roll, but he just doesn't know how to work out the crawling thing.
He's also getting better at the push-ups, but his legs don't work in tandem. Or he'll move his little knees and push his butt up in the air, but he won't use his arms at the same time. I know one of these days, he'll get the hang of it.
Keep in mind most babies learn to crawl between 7 and 10 months. We just seem to have a lot of overachievers in this PR. Finn will get there when he's ready.
Elias has been rocking on his hands and knees for about a month now. He also started just this weekend pulling forward, like he'll rock, then lay on his belly, then get back up and do it again and again moving forward each time until he gets to the toy he wants or one of us. I think he'll be crawling in a few weeks. He doesn't pull up or anything yet.
I have a friend with a 12 month old and she thought for the longest time he wasn't ever going to crawl because until he was 7 months old he would literally roll himself everywhere he wanted to go. It was the cutest thing I ever saw.
