Ugh, I hear ya! My AF has been terrible, too, and I just want to curl up in a ball and hibernate until she's gone. And when I calmly explain to the babies that "Mama needs to go to the bathroom, and then I can snuggle with you," they don't seem to understand

Yeah, the problem is that I have a four year old who is lightening fast at putting his brother in a headlock or some other dangerous position LOL! When I need my hands, I have to pull the travel bed or bouncy seat into the bathroom and then lock my 4 year old out!!
Since been on mirena, I barely see AF. Its just enough to use a pantiliner on 1 or 2 days. Very slight cramping too. Mine too has been better post childbearing, Thankfully!
P/S With us having no privacy as mothers, dd1 came in once while I was using the restroom and caught a glimpse of AF on my pantiliner so she said "mom, why you poop on yourself?" (3 year old imperfect grammar). I had no explanation because I guess its better for her to think its poop than to think its blood. Not ready for the birds and the bees talk yet!
