Has anyone else's af been way worse since delivering?

Mine are very painful, very bright red which is not normal for me, and always showing up 1-2 weeks late. Is this normal or should i call the dr?

Also. For those of you with PCOS, did your symptoms seem to get worse post partum?

Thank you ladies!! :-)

I had my first AF since having Kyah last month. It was very bright red, also not normal for me. I haven't had my second one yet, so I don't know if it will be on time. I'm assuming it will at this point. The one to two weeks late seems strange. Sorry about the pain, that sucks. It might be a good idea to call the dr to get his/her opinion!

Mine hasn't returned yet. With ethan I only had it two times and then was pg with Brennan but the 2nd period was a bit late. With Brennan I had the mirena iud put in after her was born and when my cycle returned it never went away but that was because the iud was in my abdomen and had to be surgically removed once it was removed things were normal for me.

Yes - mine are something awful the first few days, very bright red and way more blood than I ever had before! Thankfully they're not too painful but I get twinges of pain when I'm ovulating. Before Remy mine were always late by a week or two when I wasn't on the pill, and now they come a little bit early every month. I bet the lateness of yours now is normal, and just a change from being pregnant.

mine are pretty bad - they had gotten better after my first 2 kids, but now they are back to 7-9 days heavy bright red bleeding.

as for pcos symptoms, mine returned with in a few weeks of delivery, gained all the weight back that I lost, facial hair hasn't been too bad though.

I get AF about 12 days after I ovulate, but I don't ovulate until day 20 to 30, so my cycles are still typically long for me. they have always been long thanks to pcos.

I've had like 3 since birth and the first one was the worse. Theve gotten better since that one but not by much. I've had horrible cramps and a prettu heavy flow compared to what it used to be. I honestlyddon't notice color so I have no idea lol. And they have been longer to then what they used to be
