What solids are you starting with? What does baby like/dislike so far?

I made him homemade brown rice cereal first, he didn't really care much for it. So far he has had peas, carrots, apples, sweet potatoes, bananas and avocado (all homemade purees), in that order. He has loved all of those, he just loves to eat. I just made green beans and will try those next.

Norah grabs everything I eat, so I've given her bananas and avocado, but only the tiniest bit. She liked them both.

Arianna has had some banana and some sweet potato. And she helped herself to some broccoli off my plate the other night.

We just started this week. All she has had so far is green beans. She hated them but I kept with them. Now she tolerates them! We will be trying peas tonight.

Juliet gets baby oatmeal 2x daily right now and has had sweet potatoes and loved them! New dr suggested waiting till 6 month to start fruits/veggies so we backed off and will reintroduce in a month.

We just started this week. He was showing all the outward signs of readiness and we're only 2 weeks for 6 months. He's had sweet potatoes and avocado. He seems to like the sweet potato better but I plan to give him each new food 10-15 times before writing things off as foods he doesn't like. We plan on keeping food for fun and do mostly breastmilk for as close to 1 year as possible.

We just started. Skipped cereal and started with bananas. He seems to like them. He's not all excited, but he opens his mouth for the spoon, lol!

We do the homemade purees too, she seems to like everything I've given her. Though she LOVES applesauce. lol, she attacks the freaking spoon. She's not quite so enthusiastic about carrots

Is anyone else using the Infantino Squeeze Station? I'm obsessssssed with it! It's only $25 (or less than $20 if you have a coupon) and it's definitely worth it's weight in gold. I love making purees for Calla and being able to put them into those convenient squeeze pouches

I started Logan two days ago, so he's only had sweet potato so far, but he loved it!
