I keep seeing all the standing/crawling/pulling up posts and pics on FB. Is my kid the only one that isn't doing any of these? She rolls all over the place, but she doesn't try to crawl or pull herself up. I keep meaning to look up when my son did these things (not that it matters because they are different, but just for reference). When should I be worried?

Not yet. Only worry if she's still not mobile (any form) around 12 months, too stiff, too floppy, or favoring one side like the other doesn't work properly. Otherwise, all kiddos are different. Doc didn't crawl until he was 10 months but he started walking a month later.

I found this too. Hope it helps.

Crawling isn't a milestone any longer, so I wouldn't be concerned about that. A d pulling to stand usually occurs btw 10-12mo. We have some early babies

She may skip things too. Cam still freaks out when he lands on his back...he's like a turtle, he "can't" roll to his stomach (according to him).

And like you said, all babies are different.

Sarah is trying to pull up but has ZERO interest in crawling. My big girls never crawled either tho.

Jack still isn't crawling. He did make a lot of progress in the past week, but I'm guessing we have a little while to go. He's now putting himself onto his tummy from sitting and is rocking on his hands and knees. I seriously didn't think he was ever going to get to this point, but I keep reminding myself that a typical baby crawls between 7 and 10 months. That's a pretty big range.

He's also not pulling himself to standing yet.

Finn is doing this army crawl thing and gets up on all fours but he still doesn't crawl properly. LOL!
He does roll all over the place and he can get in a seated position all on his own.
I really think our babies are growing at different rates!
Don't worry. I am sure she will be scooting around before you know it!

Ava's not crawling or pulling up on stuff and she also has turtle syndrome and won't roll to her belly. She'll pull to standing when we hold her arms, but not actively pulling up on stuff.

I also have been worried about this. Xavier doesn't "properly" crawl but does the army type thing. Doesn't show any interest in pulling up on things and still doesn't really sit great.

Awww man, I'm actually jealous of the turtle babies! Emily does what we refer to as the "alligator roll" where every time you lay her on her back, she flips over and tries to take off, which makes dressing and diaper changes rather challenging. It's pretty much become a 2 person event, one to hold her down, one to change the diaper. Otherwise it can get downright messy...

I wouldn't worry about Molly not being that active yet. She may not be doing it today but tomorrow she could just take off. That's how it was with Emily. One day she was just sitting there content with doing nothing and the next she decided that was boring and was crawling, pulling up and getting into everything. It's amazing how quickly they learn skills at this age.

Nope Ryan isn't doing most of those either and he seems content. He commando crawls (army crawls) everywhere, rolls back and forth, but doesn't sit up yet and hasn't even thought of pulling himself up to stand. I'm getting him checked out by the early child intervention because he won't put any weight on his legs when standing, making sure its nothing since my oldest child was delayed. I wouldn't worry too much, my oldest didn't sit up until 8 months, pulled herself up at 9 mths and was walking by 11 months earlier than my other children.

I've been wondering the same thing. I never worried before with my other kids but when you see all these pics of the babies doing these things it feels like Luke's behind. I keep telling myself it's no big thing. Every kid is different.

My oldest dd only army crawled and did this at 6 mo while my youngest dd didn't do any crawling until 8 mo. My middle dd only said mama, dada and uh oh until her 2nd b-day. My others talked like crazy by then. But it was like someone flipped a switch on her 2nd b-day and she started talking like crazy.

Luke is crawling backwards and rolls all over. He isn't trying to pull up at all. He sits up but still isn't left sitting up on his own because he will fall backwards or sideways.

No need to worry. Before you know it she'll be all over and you'll wish she wasn't.

Summer knows how to get up on all fours and rock but thats about it. She likes to roll around everywhere and when she's sitting she will scoot everywhere. No interest in actually crawling and has not tried to pull herself up on anything yet.

So jealous! My nephew was like that (and he's all over the place now). I would love for my kids to sit still a little bit longer!

She's got one up on Paxton, he never became a roller. He was pretty much stationary until he started scooting backward and he didn't go forward until two weeks ago. Since she already has a mode of mobility she probably isn't interested in trying anything else until she gets bored and decides to check out this walking stuff that everybody is doing.

Harper rolls and shuffles but she doesn't crawl yet, still doesn't bare weight on her legs really and will sit but doesn't sit herself up.. she's almost 11 months. I don't think you have anything to worry about yet but I know I'm a little concerned about Harper. It's hard not to be.

Pippa does not crawl; she rolls. She shows no interest either. (My first daughter never crawled at all.) Pippa just started pulling up on furniture last week. I wouldn’t worry at all.

Thanks everyone for the reassurance! It's funny because no matter how many kids you have the worrying never stops. I'm just going to enjoy the fact that she's not so mobile yet . . although she is probably the fastest roller this side of the mississippi.

Hoping that it's nothing to worry about! Molly doesn't sit herself up either. The worry never ends.
