We won't be doing a big party this year. We'll likely just do something together as a family, maybe go to the zoo or the lake, something the kids will enjoy but nothing overwhelming. I'll bake him a cake and let him dig in and have fun with it. I just want to celebrate the fact that we have him! Of course, we do that every day, but you know what I mean.
I will be ordering him a onsie from Etsy though. I got one for Kailyn and I love it! I still pull it out and reminisce about how tiny she once was.
As Daniel and Michaela's birthdays are a day apart, they will be having a joint close friends/family tea party probably on Michaela's birthday (Daniel may be spending his actual birthday with his dad, and he'll be having a little party for his friends before the end of the summer term).
Zoo animals theme, I have ordered the cake as a friend is making it and waiting for it to be priced up. I haven't bought anything else yet but will probably be getting zoo animal plates/tablecloth and if any children are coming (depends on who decides to come) I will get a few party bags/favours with that theme as well.
I saved some of Michaela's baby food jars to make party favours for the adults using an idea I saw on Pinterest.
We won't be doing games, just play, balloons, presents, buffet and singing happy birthday.
We will be having a party with family and close friends, but I haven't given a lot of thought to the theme just yet- my two other girls have birthdays before here! Although Alyssa and Hannah's birthdays are only 3 days apart, so I'll be planning them simultaneously.
I love Mason's party. My son was born during a blizzard so his theme was winter one-derland. I had so much fun with it. Not sure what I'm going to do for Mel yet, I'm leaning toward a luau theme or butterflies. We just invite family and close friends over (which for us is a ton of people) and cook food and mingle. Hubs will probably BBQ and I'll put out some pool stuff for the kiddies. Nothing fancy, no stress. LJ slept through half his party and no one cared. I asked for no gifts for my son but no one listened so I'm guessing that will happen again, lol.
Noah is going to have a little party at home but we are unsure of the theme yet - probably pirates or just summer fun with party games for the big kids and lots of cupcakes and finger food for the little kiddies. i might hire a small bouncy castle for him and his little cousins to play on. lets hope its a sunny day!
