I'm considering getting a jogging stroller, because I'm finding that now that I have two kids, I really need to be able to steer the stroller with one hand instead of two! Other wants: a really good sunshade since Jamison is SO fair, 5pt harness, decently lightweight and compact when folded. Must fit through standard doorways. I will most likely buy used, and if I can convince DH, am going to try to spend less than $100. Thoughts on brands you would or would not recommend?

Are you actually going to run with the stroller, or do you just want the features of a jogging stroller.

The reason I ask is...the Baby Jogger City Mini Double fits everything you asked for, but it really isn't a jogging stroller. I can literally turn it/push it with one finger, and it pushes evenly when I have Claire on one side and a baby on the other. It has 5-pt harnesses. It isn't the most compact when folded, but it does fold flat (in half, it doesn't get more narrow when folded). It has follow-the-sun canopies that are AWESOME...my kids are never ever in the sun when we use that stroller. It fits thru standard doorways easily. It is much lighter than my Phil and Ted's Double! The trick will be finding one for under $100, but it is possible!

Nope, I'm not a runner. I just want the one hand maneuverability and a smoother ride on gravel and sand. I've decided my "money is no option pick" is the new 2012 City Mini with the glider board accessory. Realistically, the Baby Trend single jogger is probably what we will go with. It meets all of our requirements, and is only $99 new if you get it from Walmart.com!

We do have the glider board also...it is pretty awesome

The Baby Trend looks nice...I have heard good things about them! Love the cupholders, too...that is something mine doesn't have!

You should check out the Mountain Buggy Duo. It's expensive but you can find it on Craigslist. It's really great!!!
