So my husband was admitted to the hospital this morning for an infection that's not going away. I hate being home alone at night with the kids. Of course at 11:30 my neighbors home security alarm goes off saying "step away from the home immediately, police have been notified." I called the fire department and they said they would check it out but they didn't as far as I saw. I locked all the windows and turned on all the lights. I even took a kitchen knife down to the basement to make sure everything is ok there. I am mental!!! So exhausted but can't sleep because I'm convinced someone is coming in my house any minute.

Oh honey, I am so sorry. I understand being alone at night. My husband and oldest son travel for days at a tome and I hate being alone and often feel paranoid! We live on the same street as a few police officers and rescue workers , but still not feeling safe at night. I read a lot and watch t.v. late into the night because of it when he's gone and then I am dog ead tired in the mornng.
