Mathieu just starting pulling to standing and just turned 11 months!! but yesterday he started pulling to standing in his crib... problem is he can't get down on his own. My daughter NEVER did this. so tonight we had to go in (only once) to put him back on his tummy - is that a good plan just go in put him down and leave?

Not sure how to handle that; never dealt with it. Luyando only stands after she's woken up. Usually she is sleeping by the time I put her in the crib. DD1 put herself to sleep in her crib and the poor dear never stood up. She slept in her crib until age 2.5 and never knew she could climb out of it either! It won't take him long to figure out how to get down by himself soon though so I guess you could leave him.

When they first start pulling up to a standing position if they scream they maybe scared and not know ho to get down. I had to go help Emma a few times when she started this. I went in and lied her back down and walked out. She figured it out how to get down after awhile. LOL I did not take her out because I did not want her to think I would take her out if she stood up everytime.
It may take several times. He may let go and you will hear it. Nothing you can do about that. He may crash once but he will get it.
