Has anyone taken their LO to a football game yet? We live about 2 ouhrs from where my dad graduated HS, and where I would have graduated if I hadn't moved in 8th grade, and their homecoming is tonight. My parents are going and asked my husband and I to go, and we really want to, but can't leave Ethan behind because my parents are the only ones we know in this town to babysit lol. I'm just kind of nervous about taking him because he doesn't like to sit on my lap since he learned how to walk, and I've never had him around a crowd like that before. Any advice?

I would take him. We have taken Jill to several baseball games and she was really good and had fun!

I would never take Evan to a Football game, just because he is so squirmy & has such a short attention span & he only sits on laps for so long. I wouldn't really have a problem with the crowds or noise. I would just suggest that you be prepared to walk around or find other distractions in the area should your LO start to get squirmy & sit on the ends of the bleachers toward the bottom/front so you have easy access to get in & out.

We ended up going and had a pretty good time. He did pretty well the first quarter sitting at our feet playing, then started getting fussy. We took him down by the concession and held him for awhile then went back up at half. Around the 3rd quarter we had to take him back down and let him run around for awhile and ended up leaving about halfway into the 3rd cause we were winning 55-7 and it was basically over anyways lol.

Well, I missed this...lol! We took Addy last year when it was warm enough. My BIL is the assistant football coach for one of the high school's here, so we went a lot last year. I won't take her this year because she is into EVERYTHING! We used to take Reagan, but she wasn't this young. However, I think she would have done fine, she wasn't as mobile at this age, but she sure is now! Anyways, glad you had a great time!
