So the only thing that sucks worse than falling and breaking your ankle in two places is getting a whole bunch of clogged ducts from using crutches.
Needless to say its been a fairly crappy week. I fell walking home from my neighbors house on Monday, holding Arianna. Thankfully she is fine. I got to take my first ride in an ambulance. And after meeting with an orthopedic doc this morning turns out I'll be off my foot for a minimum of 3 weeks.
Lol. Its just my luck.

Ugh, that's awful!!! Walking on crutches sucks. The trick is to put the weight on your hands and not under your armpits. I don't think you are technically supposed to put any weight there. Sometimes the hand holds have to be adjusted to avoid that. I messed up my foot my very first day of college. Spent the first 2 weeks on crutches trying to get to classes. I feel for you!

Ouch I can't even imagine! I guess I've been lucky as far as never breaking any bones. I'm sorry you're going through that. I hope the pain isn't too bad and you heal quickly.

Slowly getting better at the crutches...had another set of x-rays Wed and so far things are healing well and so far no surgery. The doc was surprised which I took as a positive. I have another appointment next Wed and I'm hoping things stay lined up and they can switch me to a walking cast. Right now I'm just thankful I've been slow at work and my bosses have been really understanding.
