Everything was looking good! Our OB really thinks that my back pain issue was the very VERY beginnings of a kidney infection, but not quite enough to send up huge red flags and require a hospital stay. He is happy with the impact that the antibiotic has made already, and feels that we should be good to go. He also said to monitor any back pain, because this is common as we get larger (changes in posture), so that I can note if something feels like it is recurring or a whole new type of discomfort.
I can't get over how accessible he was. I called the after-hours number and they had him on the phone with me in just a couple of mins. It is a great relief to know that he would take the time for a back pain panic attack!
I got to hear my little lamb's heartbeat. It seemed much stronger and louder than it had just a month ago! He took some measurements and said that we are right on target. The results of the Nuchal were spot on, too.
I go back on Aug 25th to him and on Aug 22nd for my Anatomy Scan!!! WOOHOO!!! I'm dying to see if I continue with our trend toward Team Blue, or get to join the club with those few girls floating around!
