Well since I got into this last trimester my heart has been skipping... it's usually just a short skip and I go on with my day, but the other night when I was trick or treating with my daughter and it seriously felt like my heart paused for a good 2-3 seconds then BANG... I called my cardiologist and he said its prolly where the pvc hit and not to be worried since I wasn't dizzy or anything.. but OMG that scared the crap out of me.. felt like it wasn't going to start again.. anyone else have that????
I got that for the first time about a month ago. It actually took my breath away and my whole face became flush. I was freaked out thinking I was going to have a heart attack. My doc said there is extra blood pumping through your body and it's probably not something to worry about.
I normally do not have heart palpitations. I think total this pregnancy so far there has been 3 times. And never had them before I was pregnant.
It did feel like my heart paused which caused me to feel like my chest was caving in for a good 2 sec which took my breath away, and then the warm flush feeling came over me. It was such a weird feeling.
I am trying not to stress over it too much since the doctor doesn't seem to be worried. And stress isn't good when your pregnant. I also read alot that says heart palpitations during pregnancy is common.
Im sorry both of you are experiencing this. I havent felt that happen. I just noticed that I have never seen either of you in the Jan DDC before. We would love for you to post an introduction post to help us welcome you and get to know you better.
HonestMama ^ is also due and Feb but participates in our DDC because this is where she feels more at 'home.' We were just asking for an introduction post to help get to know you better. Eventually we will turn into a Jan 2012 Playroom and if your baby is born in Jan then that is where you will belong =). We werent trying to be forceful or anything we were just wanting to have an official welcome and to help get to know you.
Before I found out I was pregnant I had been having some weird palpitations and stuff. Was referred to cardiologist and then found out I was pregnant. He told me that I was probably just feeling them more because of baby and that they would be getting worse but not to worry about them. Since the last trimester has started, I've started having them daily and sometimes I feel pressure, but I think it's also anxiety, too.
