I am 3 weeks PP. I am just wondering if anyone has started WW this early and if its safe? I am having a very hard time with my weight , still 30lbs to lose and it does not seem to be dropping off anymore. I know its still early and yes I'm nursing. Any thoughts?
I know they raise points allowance for nursing mothers , I'm just wondering if I should wait longer or if I can start doing something. My appetite is increasing and Im afraid to wait to long. Any thoughts?
I found that since they increased the point allowance it seems like you can eat a lot more because you are allowed unlimited fruits and vegetables. When you take into account the extra points for nursing, it seems like a lot. (they also ask if you are EBFing or nursing and giving solids-those are different allowances).
Since revamping the program, it's healthier. I'd go for it-I lost 2.4 the first week I started. I haven't weighed in yet this week.
I waited until 6 weeks pp for my milk supply to establish... it can be detrimental to cut calories prior to that point. I also do the old system for now bc I have not been to a meeting in a while LOL. I am a lifetime member but do not have a center here so I dont go... im not sure how that would work to start online. Anyhow, I started this week. I am hoping to get down 15lbs before my birthday in May.
I only went off my way of eating during the holidays, so I just got back on track when teh baby was born (minus hubby's birthday last week). I don't count calories though, so a program like WW doesn't work for me. I JERF- just eat real food.
