I love makng this salsa recipe because it is done so easily!

In a blender combine the following:

1 can rotel tomatoes original with green chilis
1 can rotel tomatoes lime and cilantro
1 medium onion, diced
1 Tbs lemon juice
1 Tbs chopped garlic
1 Tbs Nature's Seasoning (it is made by the same people who make Morton's salt - I buy it at Walmart)

Pulse the blender just a few times until everything is combined and enjoy! I add fresh chopped cilantro to mine because I love that stuff lol

I might have to try this. Dh really loves Herdez salsa, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to find up here. We've tried a ton of other brands and nothing is really hitting the spot, so we'll probably be trying some recipes for home made over the spring and summer.

^^You may want to add the garlic to taste after you blend the other stuff - I love garlic, but not everyone likes as much as I do lol

Yeah, I'm not sure if I remember seeing much Ro-Tel up there. It's really just tomatoes with green chilis chopped up (and if you don't like cilantro the other kind wouldn't be very yummy for you) but it is nice to not have to chop up the chilis yourself. The cans are also smaller than standard cans tend to be.

I didn't like cilantro until I grew some in my herb garden last year.
