We had our "release of care" appt today with the RE, and we had an ultrasound done again. Still ONE healthy baby in there with a HB of 138 They did say there was quite a few old blood clots in between my baby and the cervix, so not to be surprised if i have frequent brown spotting throughout the pregnancy. I'm thrilled to have an answer to the spotting!

So when we left the RE, we headed to the birth center to see my midwife so she could run a UA. (it was normal, so hooray for no bladder infection) and I decided to go ahead and plan on birthing there, but we're going to buy an "emergency" home birth kit, because of my experience with Hunter, and just in case I decide I don't want to go in, we will have what we need here. I feel good about this decision. My first official appt is on May 25th (a saturday) at 11AM

Nothing too exciting, but I just thought I would update
Oriyan, *~ Joni ~*, *Leah* and 2 others like this.

I am so glad you have explanation for the spotting!!

And to pick where you will give birth, must have lifted a big weight off of your mind! Good thinking having a backup plan as well!!

How wonderful, I had my second in a birth center. It was my best labor experience. The actual birth, well I'll just say I screamed her out of me. Lol! That ring of fire was no joke, they say you forget but I remember all to well.
