Ive been lurking around but not posting much bc I dont know whats going on.
So I got my BFP on April 9th. According to my last period that would make me 3 weeks 2 days. The next day I started spotting. It was mainly brown so I just figured old blood and tried just taking it easy.
Well over the weekend it went red and got alittle heavier so on Monday(4/15) I went to the ER bc it just didnt seem right. I was 4 weeks Monday. They did my hcg and it was 285. Did an u/s but of course its too early to tell. They said to follow up on Wed with my doctor.
I went Wed and had my blood done at my doctors. They called Thurs said my numbers were around 470. He did my blood work again that day and checked my progesterone as well. Then said he wants me back on Tues to do it again and I will meet with him Wed. Were hoping its high enough at that point to do an u/s to see whats going on.
Im still spotting off and on throughout the day. And for some reason every morning usually from 6ish-11ish I bleed red blood. Im so nervous about losing the baby its making me an emotional mess not knowing.
The best advice I can offer is to distract yourself and RELAX. I have had friends who bleed like crazy during their pregnancies and now have healthy happy toddlers. Are you cramping? From what I've been m/c usually have both.
Vent away here all you need and we can help you through this time!
I am so sorry. I am sure you are a wreck. I don't know much about hcg levels but I looked it up and you seem to be in the right range and your numbers ARE going up. I also know several women who bled a lot--red--and went on to have healthy babies. It would be nice if an u/s could show something! Crossing my fingers for you.
thanks girls! I have had light cramping but nothing serious and nothing constant. I should hear about my thurs blood draw on Monday. It was only like 24 hours after my previous draw but im hoping it atleast went up alittle so I can relax alittle tell I see my doctor Wed.
