I know that some of you don't even think about names this early. I am just one of those people who likes to have names picked out by the time we find out the gender at which point I start using the baby's name

For a boy we are certain we are going with Tobias. Can't decide on a middle name yet but possibly Albert (after Dh grand father) or Reed (just because I like it). Open to suggestions on a middle name

For a girl Dh said Hattie which I love but not sure it is a grown woman's name...thoughts? So I said what about Hadley (call her Haddie).....well turns out I should have checked as its trending and in the top 200 which we don't do (happens usually after we pick a name though!). Another name we like is Adrienne which is not trending and we thought we would use for a middle name for Hadley. I am back to the drawing board as of now though.

So do you have names? To early to think about it yet? Share and give me some suggestions if you want.....Is Hattie a good name for a grown woman or am I right to think it sounds more like a smaller child's name?

Nope, still nowhere on this one. I made a list of names but I'm not really thrilled with any of them.

My sister's name is Adrienne....

I know a 26 year old woman named Hattie, never seemed weird to me as an adult name.

Our names are Meredith or Ryder. Middle name for Meredith is probably going to be Jean. Thats as far as we've gotten so far.

SO likes naming after people and I don't! So thats caused some standstills on names

Oliver is set for a boy. We have wanted to use it since our first girl and it hasn't changed. Although, Benjamin was also in the running from the beginning.

For a girl, DH is set on Olivia. I really like it, but I am not 100% sold.

Layne is the middle name. Boy or girl. :]

I love Olivia and Oliver...they are popular now.

I have a friend that has a Hattie and Hazel.....I don't think Hattie is odd for an adult.

My top names are Calliope (Callie) or Daphne for a girl...and Guy and Milo for a boy...dh finally likes Guy....but I reallllly want Milo....we both love Calliope...but may start w a K instead...

we have names set in stone for both genders...but for school ive met a few older women named Hattie or Haddie and it suits them nicely I think it would work just fine for a girl/woman of any age and I think it's a lovely name

I would have loved the name Milo....except I wasted it on a pet.

My first names I have decided to keep a secret , but middle names will be Marie for girl and Thomas for boy (after my brother)

I LOVE Hattie! Oh use it use it!!!

I love getting names from movies and books, like Lisbeth and Mikael (dragon tattoo), Lyra (Golden Compass....another name wasted on a pet) Sophie and Marcle (Howells Castle, Im a huge anime fan!) Laura, Mary, Caroline, Grace (Little House).....the possibilities are endless!

There was one girl's name I saw in a book once: Lettuce. What?!

I'm not sure, honestly. With my 11w miscarriage, we had names picked out..Henry for a boy and Molly for a girl, although I was positive that I was pregnant with a boy, so we just referred to it as Henry. Well, genetic testing afterwards proved I was right. So, now I'm not sure I can use that as a first name again....it just doesn't feel right. I'm due Dec. 31, so I kind of like the idea of Christmas themed names..... Noel and Holly.

For middle names, we name them after someone..... like my son's middle name was DH's brother's first name, and my daughter's middle name is one of DH's sister's middle names.

I'm not really set on anything now, but DH is cool with my Christmas theme. I could change my mind though. We generally pick a boy and a girl name by the time we find out gender.

Being our 4th we have gone through names alot now. We are thinking Gavin James or Michael James for a boy. But that could change. For a girl, my mom passed away a year ago last April. Her maiden name was Tierney so for a girl it is set in stone as Tierney Lynn

I have one girl name, and unsure about a boy name...which is the opposite from last time around. My DH's cousin named her daughter Hadley and they call her Haddie. With my son it was so easy cause I always new I wanted a Gavin...

Dh and I picked out very possible first names last March before our first loss and we decided to keep them since we don't know the gender of any of our losses. If I know if they were boys or girls, I couldnt use the name again.
So for a girl,.... Rosina after my Grandmother with no middle name set yet, and for a Boy... Anthony Bernard (first name for DHs cousin who is extremly close to him and Bernard for my Dad who passed in 2008. He and DH worked together and were close friends.
I wanted to name a boy Paul-Anthony Bernard because I wanted DHs name too, but he said no way...three names is silly I bet I win!~

We like Gavyn as well for a boy. Guess I didn't realize how popular it was!

Our boy list is Sawyer, Gavyn, Bentley and Canaan ( both DH's grandfathers are deceased and he was very close to both, their names were Calvin and Nathanial. Canaan was as close as we could get to both).

Our Girl List (even though DH is 100% convinced that it will be a boy and we don't even need to discuss girl names) is Bristol, Emmelynne, Ansley and Paisley.

I love your matching initials! We do that too

We're Joni and Joel and we have
Jordana (jor-DAN-uh)
Jacoby (ja-CO-bee)
Jamason (Jamison)

Jocelyn is set in stone for a girl. Not sure for a boy.

For a little boy it will either be:

James Robert (my name Jamie and my Daddy Robert)
or
Robert Eugene (my Daddy and my DH's father that just passed last month)

For a little girl:
Madison
Delilah
Amelia
Arielle
Aubree

are just a few that are on the table right now.. nothing definite yet.
