I have a chance at having them since I took injectables to conceive (Follistim & Ovidrel). I would be thrilled if I found out we were having twins.

I certainly hope not, I don't see how we could manage that - financially or emotionally

Just came back from our ultrasound and only one. I am happy with that. Don't think I could manage twins.

I think I would be overwhelmed at first but we'd get used to it and deal with it. I'll be happy with whatever we get!

I would have loved my second pregnancy to be boy/girl twins but with a 15 month old already I am good with just having one this time.

With my high-ish betas and fast doubling time my midwife had mentioned the possibility....I am just thrilled to be pregnant and hoping I get a baby in the end...one or two....i will take what i am given!

Honestly? I think I could manage 2 babies. It'd be REALLY hard. I just think a multiple pregnancy would literally kill me. I get SO SICK with just one!

I have nightmares of twins in my early pregnancy (night before last) before I have an ultrasound to confirm just one.

I am good with one. I have twin cousins who fight all the time...wouldn't want to deal with that when they were older. My neighbor dreamed that I had triplets...but I am pretty sure it is just one in there.

I think the idea of twins is always more appealing than actually having them. Lol twins run in my family and I'm over 30...I plan on having another after this baby...so who knows. Oh and there's just one in there I've had an early u/s

I've heard the word "twins" should be changed to "two freaking babies at the same time!!!" lol (I cleaned it up )

No twins for me---US just has one little bean in there for me! I don't think I could ever do two babies at the same time

I'll be happy with whatever happens. I just hope for a healthy baby or babies. Twins run in the family. I don't have my first beta until tomorrow.

Fraternal twin history on both sides for us :-)

With as dizzy, hungry and tired this pregnancy has made me, SO teases me often that it's multiples

DH's brothers are fraternals. With the 1st pgcy, I'd have been up for twins. But now I don 't think we could handle two and a preschooler. DH and I are getting old!

I've got my first US appointment on Thursday, so we'll see. Twins don't run in my family and this little bean was conceived without any fertility treatments this time around, so I think it's unlikely. But I feel and look like there are at least 2 babies in there - look like I'm 4 months preggo instead of just over 7 weeks!

But I'd be okay with twins...I think.

Oh Lord. During either of my first two healthy pregnancies I would have welcomed twins. I would still be happy but the Lord knows where I would put a 4th when we don't really have room for a third! Haha

omg, when I had my ultrasound yesterday, my OB initially said something like 'oh, looks like there might be something else in there'. Luckily he checked it out and was positive it was the one, but I had to hold myself from falling off the table for a minute there!
