I can not go! I mean, it HURTS I have to go so bad. Sometimes I have to push til I bleed, and I only get little pellets out >.> I miss being regular and going 2-3 times a day!

How do you fix the constipation from zofran/dehydration? I am trying to drink and eat more fiber, makes it worse!!

Sorry for TMI

Also, sorry for not being around more, my schedule is insane. I try! Welcome to the last newcomers, excited you're here!

Oh its not just the meds, it the pregnancy and the prenatals too.

Fiber on an empty stomach, colase, benefiber, fiber one bars, hot drinks, fruit, walking

I'm having the same problem... And this is all helping. Whatever you do, don't strain or you'll get hemroids (sp?)

Colace always helps me though sometimes it takes a day to kick in.

I think it's just pregnancy and the meds, because I can't keep the prenatals down haha... going to switch to gummies here soon. I've never had hemmorhoids thankfully, but they sound horrid. I'll try that benefiber and get some colace!

I had terrible constipation last time and my OB told me to make a drink that was 1 part (I did 2oz each)coffee (decaf is fine), 1 part prune juice, 1 part real apple juice (the kind with solids is the best), and 1 part pineapple juice. You can drink it warm or cold but warm works faster.

What do you mean the apple juice with the solids? Oh, that sounds horrible, how did you get it down?!

Be careful! TMI, but when I was preg with DS, I once got so constipated that I had to...well...manually extract the feces. I had tried for over an hour to go and was sweating and in pain. Way harder than pushing a baby out.

Ugh. I've been hoping to hold off on taking Zofran just for this reason. I hate the constipation.

When she says the apple juice with salids, she probably means the juice with pulp. The pulp is what really gives you fiber. Most juicers remove all the solid or pulp and you the vast majority of the fiber content. Have you tried eating things like Cantaloupe, watermelon, and grapes? They tend to give more fiber and they're usually m/s friendly. The other thing is that you might ask your doctor about alternating meds. A friend of mine alternated zofran and phenergen so she didn't have to deal with the constipation issue as much.

You could try Gatorade. If you're dehydrated the problem will be worse and Gatorade is easier to stomach right now than water. Worst case you could give yourself an enema :/

Unfiltered apple juice still has some of the fiber that regular apple juice doesn't have. It tastes ok.

1/2 pills get you out of bed and last about 3 hours. But if all you need is to get over that morning hump -- the 1/2 pill works! Plus, it doesn't constipate! Which is even better.
