Hello Ladies!

My name is Andi and one week ago today I got the shock of my life when I took an hpt and I saw a very, very faint blue line. Panic set in. I scurried off to the drugstore in my pajamas and ugg boots bought 5 more tests and here I am...5w3d pregnant. Due date somewhere between Dec. 26-28th.

This was definitely not planned and still doesn't feel real but I am trying to graduate out of the sheer terror phase and into the excited mommy-to-be phase. I'm not ready to tell anyone in my life about it yet including the BD... I'm 24, single and am just getting used to the fact that a developing human is inside of me. I'm hoping that this DDC will be a place I can be excited since I'm planning on keeping quiet about the pregnancy until after my first u/s.

I'm starting to look forward to the journey ahead although, to be honest, I am still freaking out a little bit

Welcome! Of course you are in shock! I think just about everyone is, whether they are trying or not. You are going to go on a roller coaster ride of different emotions. Like others said, just take it one step at a time. This is a great place to be though, lots of great advice and support.

HOLY COW! I didn't even know that was possible to have a vasectomy heal itself! You must have really been surprised haha. Congrats!
