I am curious for those that have used a belly band before as to how well they worked. I am plus-size too, so I have extra fluffiness in the front. I am not at that point yet, but would rather not spend a lot on maternity pants. Worth trying??

I didn't use it with my DD, but I did buy one last week due to my already growing belly. It helps, but make sure you get the right size bc I am a size small normally but the small/medium seems to tight for my comfort!! I am going to go and get a medium/large this weekend! It helps with my work pants and Jeans for right now though!!

I bought and used several in the past. They are annoying and roll up. I believed the hype. Better off just buying maternity pants....seriously...you'll rather have spent the money on comfort than dealing with the **** things rolling up and having to readjust them all the time.

ive already busted out my maternity pants and got a few extras i get mine at old navy they r cheaper then an actual maternity store and they have nice stuff. but i bought a belly band and i hate it im constently checking to see if the zipper part of my pants is showing and they do roll up its not worth it.

I have one but it is a waste! They don't keep your pants on, the buttons and open fly show through, etc. I bought a S/M which was the smallest that Target had and it is not tight enough to be useful.

Thanks for the input! Sounds like mostly a hassle. I still have a few maternity pants left from son. I almost ordered some from Old Navy, but I think they run slim. (I am pear shaped)

Yep, I just went with the maternity pants. It may sound weird, but I LOVE the secret fit belly pants. Not having anything tight along my waistline really helps with the nausea.

I used one a lot during my last pregnancy and didn't have much troubles with it and I was standing and walking mostly in it. Maybe thats a difference

I love my belly band! It's great to wear under a dress to add extra support. For me, the maternity pants are comfy, but they don't take any of the belly weight off my back.

I agree with the others that they don't really help to hold up your regular clothes as you "grow".

I love my belly bands too and worse them throughout most of my last pregnancy. When you are in the in between size I think they are great.
