I picked Allison up this morning, and did something to my upper back/neck. I'm in so much pain! I've popped my back several times, Matt's popped my back several times, but I still just HURT. I'd go to my chiropractor, but I won't have a car all weekend, and I have an appointment on Wednesday because because that was the only time next week that actually works.

I really hope that it doesn't last until Wednesday though!

Maybe check with your doc. Some say ibuprofen is safe during the 1st and 2nd trimesters.

Make the hubby give you a massage! Thats what I've been doing because I've been in so much pain and I try to take NO meds when pregnant. Sometimes getting those muscles loosened up helps a ton.

Tylenol doesn't do anything for me. For how much it upsets my stomach (any pills do) there's not enough of an effect to make it worthwhile.

All my doctors and everything I've read has said second trimester but not first. However, it's considered unsafe because it can cause/make worse bleeding problems and even though *I* have never had any, I have several relatives who have, so I just avoid it altogether.

I took tylenol the other day and it upset my stomach too :/ But do try a heating pad! Or maybe a cold pack, if heat doesn't work.

I alternated, which my chiropractor said is best in these situations. I still have a spot between my neck and shoulder that is really sore, but it's mostly okay now.

Glad to hear it's easing up!
