I got my BFP last week, and by the due date calculator here I am due around Dec. 29. So I just made the December board. My biggest trouble right now is that I am experiencing some bad nausea. (Bad for me). I was just wondering what you ladies have done that helps with morning sickness. I would love any and all suggestions. I am willing to try just about anything to make this easier to deal with. I work in the school district near my home, so I have to be up to speed with the kids I work with, and sometimes this morning sickness kicks my butt, and I have to take a minute before I can continue a lesson. Any little thing helps. Thanks!!

For me what works is just making myself vomit. Sounds bad but I usually feel much better afterwards. By make myself I really mean let myself because it doesn't take much effort for it to come out. Also, I've found that crackers or pretzels first thing help also. I usually have to clear my stomach first before anything will help.

Congrats & welcome! If it gets bad enough, vitamin B6 & half a Unisom tablet works well for many women. Natural remedies that have helped me: green apples, sucking on Reed's crystalized ginger, Reed's ginger beer (ginger ale), Seabands, eating something light upon waking (banana, crackers, cheerio type cereal). It will get better soon!

I have Seabands, Saltines, and those Prego Pop things. It isn't bad, just way more noticeable than with my son.

I take B6 and Unisom every night and I feel awesome in the morning/lunchtime. I don't start feeling bad until I need another dose the next evening. I usually power through the late afternoon/evening and just take it right when I go to bed.

I also teach. I feel your pain. Summer is coming though!

I also just found out recently and I'm due around Dec 31. My six week mark has really made the morning sickness hit hard. I got really sick at work today, so far saltines and ginger ale and peppermints have helped me out a lot. Hope it gets better for all of us..soon!!

Peppermint essential oil, behind the ears. It works wonders! And bring snacks to work that have vitamim B6 and magnesium. Powerade does, as well as nutrigrain fruit bars. Sadly, it gets worse before it gets better It usually peaks around 6-8 weeks for most women, but once it does it will be easier to handle!

Oh forgot to add, if you want quick relief for a sudden wave, there's an acupressure spot on your wrist. Look it up on youtube!

and

I didn't really have morning sickness to the point of vomiting, but I would be nauseous most mornings, and I found peppermint tea to be helpful.

I suck on SweetTarts. The sour taste makes me feel better.

Seabands are also great for the wrists, especially when flying.
