How early were you able to get the heartbeat on your own? I have been trying since 7w+4d. Today is 8w+2d and still nothing! I'm sorry I got this Doppler so soon. Now I'm worried. I hear my hb which I am sick if hearing, and I hear a lot if swooshing and sounds that sound like wind blowing ( that registers about 130 on Doppler) but it faded back to my hb. Where is my baby!? Ugh! Experiences please !!

I don't have one, but based on what I've read on the reviews on amazon or with friends... The earliest I saw was in the 9th week and most people were not checking low enough. Remember your baby is low in your pelvis.

10 weeks is usually when you can hear the HB with doppler for the first time. If you have a tipped uterus, probably more around 12-13

Lurking Stefanie, but I found my 2.5yr old at 9w4d (did not try earlier), my 1.5yr old at 9w0d (did not try earlier) my 6mo old at 7w6d (did not try earlier) and this little one at exactly 7w0d. I found the last two baby's this early right at my hip area......way over to the left, down low. It was hard, and I had a full bladder. After I found it at 7w0d, I did not catch it again until 7w2d. Same spot, and found it every day since then, now its on the right or middle. Full bladder, almost by my hip bone, laying completely flat, tilt the wand, do not move it until you have circled the entire area your in. Tilt it toward your pelvic bone and press a little firm.

I found Spot a couple weeks ago also way down low. Now that I am 10 weeks I empty my bladder and start right at the pubic bones and just move around in circles really slow until I hear hoof beats. My advice is be patient baby is around an inch long so if you don't get the perfect spot you won't find it.

10 weeks. Before then it's a crap shoot...you might, you might not. Some who have some extra weight can take longer, like 12 weeks (or so I've heard).

What kind is everyone using??

There are some videos on youtube showing you how to find it early on

With Zach I was around 9 weeks and about the same with Greyson. I am about to ordering one but I don't know which to use this go around! Both times before I rented a doppler..
