I just got back from picking out a baby shower gift for a friend of mine who is due in about 6 weeks & it was the WORST shopping trip ever!!!

Grant you I was hot, had to pee, have this lovely migraine going on, & really wasn't looking forward to this whole shopping trip to begin with, but because the shower is tomorrow I didn't have much choice but to go....

So let me explain what happened... while I was shopping, some older woman (had to be in her late 50's - early 60's) came over to see if I needed help carrying anything. Even though my hands were full & I really should've gotten a cart, I politely told her no & that I can manage... well instead of walking away like I had hoped she would, she tried to rub my belly. Like what the heck?!?! Anyway, I ever so politely pulled away & told her that I don't care for people, let alone random strangers, rubbing my belly. Now instead of walking away, she decides to explain herself with, "Oh I understand hunny. I didn't like people rubbing my belly towards the end either". I guess it was emotions that got the best of me because I accidentally dropped everything & just started to cry out of nowhere. Of course this woman, instead of walking away, must've felt the need to comfort me because as she is helping me pick up my stuff, she repeatedly apologizes for upsetting me, & tells me how it's all going to be ok because I'll soon be holding my little bundle of joy.

Well, (got to love those rapid pregnancy mood swings) I snapped, started grabbing my stuff off of her, & told her I'm not due until December & that she just needs to leave me alone.
