2012 Dodge Journey - seats 7

Is adding another carseat going to be an issue? Probably not. We usually don't go out as a family unless it's some sort of holiday or celebration or vacation. Actually the only issue would be for vacation because we'd have very little room left for luggage or strollers with the third row seats up.

Dream family vehicle? I don't really have one. The one we have serves us well, thankfully. I'm not big into cars.

Dream fantasy vehicle? Again, not big into cars so I don't have one. As long as a vehicle gets me from place A to B safely and securely, I'm good.

I have a Jeep Cherokee Sport that I LOVE. We are taking up every available space with 5, so adding another baby means needing another car.

We're getting a 2013 Chevy Traverse in the fall

Mine's currently a Honda Fit.

My Dh is convinced that it won't be an issue to put in another seat...I'm not so sure about that. 3 seats in the back is going to be a tight fit, even with the two convertible seats being the super trim Dyonos. I think we're going to need a bigger car, but he's fighting me on it because he doesn't want to trade in either of our cars or deal with the salesmen.

I don't have a fantasy vehicle. Something like a small SUV I suppose? I don't like big vehicles and with only one income I'd prefer to have a car that gets a lot of miles per gallon.

We just bought a Mazda CR7 last summer. I wish we would have gotten the CR9 with the 3rd row seating because with two car seats and a teenager I think we are going to need another car.

I love my car too.

I drive a Jeep Liberty. I really love it and this only makes number 2 for me and my oldest is only in a booster so I think I'll be OK.

My dream vehicle is something electric (NO GAS) and that doesn't have a payment. Since I doubt I will find that any time soon, I think I will probably just stick with what I have!!

I drive and '05 Elantra hatchback...I really need something bigger but it's paid off and since I will likely be quitting my job once I am done with my maternity leave, I don't think I will be upgrading any time soon--I would love to have a new Audi Q7 or BMW X5 M or Mercedes G Class I also really like the new Tucsons or Mazda CX5--and they cost far less than $80k I would need for the other ones I listed. My dream for me vehicle would be an Audi S7 or Infiniti FX45.

What do you drive? a 2004 Honda Odyssey

Is adding a(nother) carseat going to be an issue? Nope. In a perfect world I'd be able to fit the 3 bigger kids on the back row, but I don't think we'll actually be able to put 2 seats with a high back and 5 point harness along with Erin's booster back there. I'll guess we'll see if Patrick is ready for a booster when the baby is born, but I'd rather not. The other option is to put the 2nd bucket seat that we've taken out back in. We took it out because it's easier to get the kids in the back seat that way (especially since Patrick can't quite clip the bottom buckle on his harness by himself), so I'd rather not put it back in.

What is your dream family vehicle? I rather like my Odyssey. Maybe a brand new one with all the fancy stuff it comes with.

What is your dream fantasy vehicle? Something sleek.

We have a toyota sienna. Is adding a seat going to be a problem? maybe--because there is not much space between the 2nd and 3rd row. Right now I have my two girls (age 2 and 6) in the bucket seats in the 2nd row, and my son (age 4) in the middle back. All in 5 pt harness. It's hard for my son to get back there. I guess when the baby comes I'll have younger 2 in 2nd row, and older two in back but that back corner will be tough to get in. I had a friend with her 2 boys visiting this weekend and we put three highback boosters in the 3rd row and it was nearly impossible. I hadn't thought of removing a bucket seat like Brittanie did in her Odyssey--that would definitely make it easier, but I wonder if the 3rd row is as safe?? I like our car--we can fit a lot of people and stuff but I don't like how close the 2nd and 3rd rows are to each other.

I drive a Lexus RX400.

Adding another car seat will be fine, but 2 is pretty much the limit unless I want 3 seats across... If I have a 3rd child, we will probably be headed to minivan land. BOO! LOL! I would probably end up liking a minivan but I already feel old.

I drive 2006 Pontiac Torrent. My husband drives a Honda CRV. Both seat a max of 5. Being that we are already a family of 4, adding twins means we need a new car, something with 3rd row seating. I really don't want a minivan, although depending on what we find it might be what I get stuck with. My preference would be a Honda Pilot or Chevy Traverse. My fantasy car.....hmmm.... an expensive sports car..not sure which one though.

We have a Dodge Journey and a Chrysler Seabring. Car seats will fit fine in both, but the searing will have more room between the front and back seat. My dream car would be something like a Tahoe. We have too much snow to not have at least AWD.

We just got a new dodge caravan and I love it and as a bonus it has cheaper payments than our last. Dh needed more space..
Adding a carseat will be fine with this and I do not really have a fantasy car. I would prefer not to have a minivan. I would rather drive a huge SUV,lol

I have an 08 Suzuki Xl7 with 3rd row. Since we only have one...adding another car seat will be fine. Greyson's car seat will just move the outside and the new one will go in the middle. What stinks more is that his Britax is expiring in November so I will be buying 2 car seats!

I want a new Lexus sedan type car. Other than that I am okay with my current.

We currently have a 2006 Chevy Suburban, a 2002 F-250 (Dh's work truck) and then I have a 2012 Ford Fiesta that i use to commute for doula'ing, school clinicals, whatever...the truck and the suburban will be fine..im hoping I can fit 3 radian across in the car, but im not sure if they will fit. My oldest is still rear facing, but im going to turn her around when she turns 4 and move her to the third row of the suburban...terrifies me though so I'll have hunter and the baby rear facing in the captain seats...

Dream family car? a new suburban with a small door (like on an extended cab truck) that makes third row access easier

dream fantasy car....i'm getting myself a jeep wrangler in a year. bright red

I drive a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan. Right now we are a family of 8 in a van that seats 7 so we usually take 2 cars anyway. not a problem at all
i don't really have a dream car....but if they make a bus with the luxury of Cadillac, the gas mileage of a prius, and the cost of a bicycle. I am in!
