Freaking Dr. Pepper!!!!! I know most of you are thinking so go have one. Well... I quit a nasty soda addiction about 5 months ago. My hubs is watching everything I consume and I know he will throw a massive adult tantrum about one little soda and make me feel guilty. Plus we live in the middle of no where, 30 minutes from any civilization. So if I just can't kick the craving, that means loading all 3 kids up and driving the 30 miles to get one soda! So im asking myself 2 questions: Is it worth all that work? And would I have enough self control to just drink one small one? Lol!

LOL~Please forgive my giggle! When I was pregnant with our first son, I was vegan. Know what I craved? The biggest, greasiest burger in town from a locally-run establishment way across town! LOL! (Literally cried if I couldn't have it, so yes, it was worth the work fer me!) I did partake, and I never looked back. And The Hubs was never happier.

I think you are too kind. Kind people give the people around them a hard time. You can't express yourself honestly, because you are worried about hurting other people's feelings, and that makes you miserable.~"Winter Sonata"

ohhh! I gave up sodas, too, but you know, we've gone out to eat while on vacation and I had a fountain drink. It was GREAT! DH can't say anything about one itty bitty soda, right? I say next time you are out and about with kiddos, hit a gas station and get a DP!

LOL! Since you're so far out, I would say not worth the trip but if you're ever in a place that has Dr. Pepper...go for it!

I have a frozen coke just about every morning and I don't feel a bit guilty. I was told I can have one caffeinated beverage a day and although this is about twice the amount that I'm supposed to have, I'm going for it. It helps my nausea.

I would so kick my husband's butt if he monitored what I ate/drank.

I say if you want it and you find a convenient time to have one, then do it. If you don't buy a ton of 2 liters or cans to bring home with you, you'll be limited to the times when you're in town.

My husband would be hard pressed to monitor my food. I grew up with a father who did that and it's contributed to tons of food issues including shame, food hiding, and sneaking to eat. It'll be the first thing I have to deal with when I'm done being pregnant.

Honestly if it was me I'd totally do it! I have one soda about every other day. I was also told I could have one a day. It's my treat and tastes so good!!

I actually kicked my soda habit during my first pregnancy because it gave me such painful bloating every time.
