I want to know if anyone's belly has "shrunk". Today I just haven't been feeling pregnant at all. No symptoms (other than heartburn and a strong urge to nap). I have felt a few kicks here and there but for the last week I feel like I can't pinpoint any movement.

Dare I ask....should I be worried? I wish I had a doppler....

I have a doppler and it hasn't help me feel pregnant! LOL I actually felt movement super early on (just flutters) at around 12 weeks and I thought by now I'd feel kicks and punches for sure. I don't feel anything!! I actually tried finding the heartbeat yesterday and couldn't so I just am giving it a few days. My belly is definitely bigger, I'm ready to feel it though!

I haven't been able to find a heartbeat yet either, so a doppler wouldn't help me either. I'm sorry you're worrying about it. If you're really concerned, you can see if your doctor will allow you to come in just to have a nurse check the heartbeat with a doppler. I'm sure everything is fine and it's just the hormones leveling out. That's always the most stressful part of pregnancy: The time between losing morning sickness and feeling movement.

It's the second trimester--things calm down quite a bit in your body and you can't feel the baby move consistently yet. I am sure everything is just fine.

I started feeling like this too, so yesterday I pulled out my doppler. Baby was loud and clear. I agree with the other ladies, it's that weird in-between time. After having so many symptoms the first trimester things start to settle down and you start wondering if you're really still pregnant.

In a few weeks, you'll feel regular movement and will be more reassured!

Hang in there. I debated getting a doppler, but I don't know if it would cause me more anxiety. It is a weird time, especially since the ms is starting to fade too. I think by 20 weeks you will feel more regular movements.

Your feeling better as you get more settled into your 2nd trimester and your shrinking because your bloating is probably calming down some. I know my belly is different by the day

I wouldn't worry unless your bleeding and cramping. Pregnancy always feels surreal until the real movement starts up

Honestly I was feeling that way for the past couple days and last night had nightmares about it, but this morning we saw bambino and he/she has a hb of 166...chances are everything is fine. I'm slowllly getting used to the ebb and flow of pregnancy hormones.

Exactly! lol There's so much going into your belly size other than belly, and most of what's "showing" isn't uterus, it's stomach and intestines, which are being pushed out of your pelvis.

I actually hate this part of pregnancy, because it's totally normal to feel a little movement and then go a day or two (or 3) not feeling anything at all.
