What kinds of hobbies do you have? (sports, outdoor activities, crafting?)

If you don't have a hobby, what do you wish you had the time or skill for?

Does your SO have any hobbies?

What kinds of hobbies do you have? (sports, outdoor activities, crafting?) I have 4 horses, i've been riding/training/breeding/showing since i was a kid. It's what I'm naturally talented at. It's hard with little ones around, but I try to make time for it still.

If you don't have a hobby, what do you wish you had the time or skill for? I wish i had some musical or artistic skills to use and an outlet.

Does your SO have any hobbies? He would call his volunteer fire fighting a hobby, and he plays the guitar and sings. His whole family is very musical.

I think I'm named them all several times~are y'all bored of me yet? LOL! Korean dramas, crochet, mountain dulcimer, lovin' Zumba and TKD....

I would love to learn to play lots of instruments, but I like the off-the-beaten path ones. An array mbira, bowed psaltery, hurdy gurdy, erhu, etc. I would also love to learn more languages, how to sew, and become a better urban homesteader in the garden!

My darling and I met in the club~he was a DJ and still has a room FULL of records, two turn tables, and a microphone. He likes video games. He likes to watch certain sports~but only certain teams.

My current hobbies: Making toys and educational things for the girls, crochet, minor woodwork (mostly finishing and customizing already built pieces), and jewelry making

I wish I had more time to get into scrap booking and card making. Unfortunately, the way it looks in my head is rarely the way it comes out on paper. I wish I had more time (and unlimited funds) for jewelry making. I love it, although I rarely wear any other than my wedding rings on formal occasions.

My husband has a million hobbies that he switches between. He's a sky diver, scuba diver, paintball player, RC airplane builder and flyer, and a certified HAM (handheld amateur radio) operator. He has a bunch of other little obsessions like body piercing, tattooing and morse code, but he mostly just researches and learns about them. He only practices body piercing and it's either on himself or me. If he had unlimited time and money, he'd also get his pilot's license.

What kinds of hobbies do you have? (sports, outdoor activities, crafting?) I'm a crafter. I can do just about anything crafty, but scrapbooking and crocheting are my favorites.

If you don't have a hobby, what do you wish you had the time or skill for?

Does your SO have any hobbies? he's a gamer.

What kinds of hobbies do you have? (sports, outdoor activities, crafting?) i love summer because we play on a co-ed softball & volleyball league, and i take my kids swimming all the time. if loving summer is a hobby, that's definitely my #1! i used to dance, but ive had 9 knee surgeries so now i try to do zumba, but even that gets a little too intense for me if i do it too often. i used to craft, back before nursing school...crafting gets expensive though, and we're trying to save to buy a boat (we want to pay cash v having to make another annoying monthly payment )

If you don't have a hobby, what do you wish you had the time or skill for? i wish i had more time for horses - we have a horse (we used to have 3, but 2 died - one was 34 and had cancer, the other was 15 and had a freaking heart attack out of nowhere!) and the one we have is 29 and going blind, so he's just a pasture ornament. i wish i had more english riding skills - i think it's so pretty. like horsie ballet

Does your SO have any hobbies?[/QUOTE] guns. anything that involves shooting guns, or animals. he also likes to work on tractors. he LOVES anything with livestock (he can't wait until our kids are old enough to join 4-h so he can help them with their cows) he's very much a "man's man" and pretty blue collar. he's happiest with a gun, a budlight and his boys i wish he spent more time with his friends. he's pretty dedicated as a husband and father, and he works a LOT because we're trying to save to buy a boat, and we're trying to pay our acreage off ASAP so we can tear down our house and rebuild - so he puts in about 14-15 hour days, does tons of side jobs, and plays with his kiddos a lot

OMG. Sounds like your husband and mine would get along great! I totally forgot about Jeff and his hunting and competition shooting. He did really well this last year at one of the handgun competitions he went to. I think he was 26th out of over 600 competitors at only his second competition.

I can't wait till my girls are old enough to do 4-H either! Although I joined late, as a freshman in high school, I showed 2 steers and rabbits. My little brother showed pigs. By my senior year, I was a club officer, county officer and state officer. I even took a couple trips to Washington with 4-Hers from my state and attended state conferences. Those are some great memories!

ive never been in 4-h (im a total city girl) but it's what everyone does out here. i went to horse camp growing up, so i know a bit about horses, and i was a large animal vet tech so im pretty good with cattle. i like sheep and goats, but i HATE hogs. we will NOT be doing hogs. i hate hate HATE them. i love cattle though. we have to get a donkey because im NOT breaking their beef! sam was an officer in 4-h, too, and a judge. he LOVED it. i think you have to be 9 to join? so quite a while yet. We might have Brylie do an open show with her goats next year, just for the heck of it

In Florida, the starting age was 8. Did your husband do livestock judging through 4-H? I was on a livestock judging team and had a blast. When I tell people these things, they think I grew up on a farm. I didn't. I lived in the suburbs of Sarasota, Florida. The only thing I was allowed to have at my house were the rabbits. My steers stayed at my 4-H leader's house and we went out there twice a day to take care of them.

Yep he did judging through 4h and FFA. I didn't even know what 4h was until after I graduated high school and I discovered one of my friends showed hogs. I thought the boy whose farm he kept them at was really cute so I went with him lol but I did NOT help with hog chores

What kinds of hobbies do you have? I love reading, baking, cooking, and gardening.

If you don't have a hobby, what do you wish you had the time or skill for? I would like to learn how to sew, since I can think of many things I'd like to make myself. I, too, wish I had the time (and money) for horses. I had one for a short while growing up that I worked and paid for myself. I miss being around horses so much. We would like to eventually purchase a small RV so we can go camping.

Does your SO have any hobbies? Guns/shooting, surfing, 80's toy collecting. He would love to go jet skiing again (something he did a lot as a kid) & I know he'd like to learn woodworking.

I love to read, I've been an avid bookworm since I learned to read Dr. Seuss. I love gardening and design. I like to write and I'd really like to take a chance and go pro one day. I also love photography, and anything I get to do that's creative.

If you don't have a hobby, what do you wish you had the time or skill for? I wish I had time to learn to make jewelry, and I wish I had the patience to learn to crochet like my mom does. Heck even my dad can knit and macrame yet somehow I did not get the hang of any of it lol.

Does your SO have any hobbies?
He's a nerd...a BIG nerd. He runs a computer store so anything to do with technology or business, he's all over it. He loves "toys" whether it's 3D glasses or his boat or his VW, he loves them all. He's also an avid gamer, movie watcher, history buff, a reader, loves the outdoors and he can build/design/fix just about anything..I say he's my Mcgyver lol.

I love to take pics and mess around with my camera. Not professional by any means but I do pretty good sometimes. I am a pic fanatic. I also love outdoors. I have a BS in ag ed and working on my masters. I head in 4-H and FFA in highschool and have worked with the students for the past eight years as assistant/ advisor. We live on a family farm and have horses cats dogs and rabbits. I love to craft and scrapbook but rarely have the time and it gets expensive. I more recently started making hairbows and like that as well. We have sold several. I was hoping for a lil bit of a second income but they have not moved that fast. I haven't really marketed either though. My life long dream has been to have my own greenhouse and raise hydro crops for sale. There is a huge market here for that.

SO likes the outdoors. He likes to build things. He built my DD a car for her boxcar derby and she won 3rd place. We usually garden together and enjoy watching movies. He is also an avid drawer. He can freehand anything. Needless to say he practiced a lot on himself at a young age! I put all the things he had in a folder in a binder for dd. Really good artwork.
