Mostly I just sing. I played the violin in high school, until I got tendonitis in my wrist and it just became too painful. I play the piano a little bit (I should practice more...). I love to sing though, and am pretty much singing all the time.

That being said, I'm not really all that *good.* I'm not terrible either. I'm mediocre. I just really enjoy it.

I know the basics for singing and reading music. I've gotten really good at nursery rhyme medlies with DD.

I played clarinet in school, and now I play a mountain dulcimer~if you can call what I do playing! LOL! I just love it. There are lots of instruments I drool over: array mbira, hurdy gurdy, erhu, bowed psaltery....

I also enjoyed show choirs in school and enjoyed some theater opportunities beyond (one we got to perform for Papa Bush), and I once had a job singing and waiting tables on a riverboat. My songs were "She Works Hard for the Money" and "The Electric Slide". I don't know that I am/was a great singer, but I used to be able to at least hold my own and had good stage presence.

Funny~my voice does NOT suit a dulcimer (due to range). I still do it anyway! LOLOL!

I think you are too kind. Kind people give the people around them a hard time. You can't express yourself honestly, because you are worried about hurting other people's feelings, and that makes you miserable.~"Winter Sonata"

I have played the piano, violin and guitar in the past, but I haven't really played any of them in a long while.

I love music and listen to it pretty much all day. I sing, but I'm pretty awful, so I try not to subject anyone to it.

I played the violin in junior high. Once in high school, I gave up the violin for Choir and Show choir. I've also done some community theatre projects since then. The last one I did was "Into The Woods" about 5 years ago. I played Cinderella's stepmother! I love to sing karaoke!!!

I played steel drums in elementary school and switched to the flute and piccolo in middle and high school. We had one of the top marching bands and wind ensembles in the state so I got to travel a lot. We were supposed to perform in the half time show at the fiesta bowl but 9/11 ruined that because no one from the other schools wanted to fly so it was cancelled. I was invited to join a European tour with an invitation only honor band but my parents said no based on cost (I think they just didn't want me to go to Europe without them lol.)

The downside is now I have really bad carpel tunnel from playing 3-6 hours a day for 8 years I still play for the kids sometime.

I played the piano as a kid. Other than that, not really musically inclined although I love music. My brother, on the other hand, is super musically inclined. He plays the piano, trombone, and sings opera, professionally. DS1 is also, he plays the drums.

Played Clarinet and flute from 3rd grade until I graduated high school. I love to sing, I don't sound too good but that doesn't stop me. Don't put any Mary J Blige on or I'll have your ears bleeding. Lol I was in the choir at school, I sound good with a group. Solo's not so much.

musically inclined? Yes

Do you play any instruments? Yes. Trombone is my major instrument (professional level), euphonium is almost as advanced as my trombone playing, then I also play guitar, ukulele and a little bit of piano.

Sing? Yes, and I also conduct choirs.

Teach music? Yes. That's what I do for a living. I have a degree in music.

I played the violin 4th grade all the way through highschool and was in choir. I wasn't superb at it, but I did alright.
