Expecting our 1st and 2nd

So over the weekend, we finally revealed to the world that we are expecting! I told all of my coworkers on Friday. We saw some friends in person, called the rest, and announced on Facebook. Everyone seemed very excited for us, and one of my friends even offered to make us a gender reveal cake when we find out. I'm a little relieved at not having to keep a secret anymore. But on the other hand, it makes me a little anxious that everyone knows.

We also got the results back from our Early Risk Assessment (NT Scan) and everything is normal. Woo hoo! That was a huge relief!

I'm still not really feeling pregnant. I think I'm starting to pee less and my acne has eased up a little. A new symptom that started the other day is that I'm really, really itchy! Mostly on my back, sides, and stomach and I'm worried I'm going to start getting stretch marks (I've already got some from earlier in life, so I know they're inevitable). I've been putting on lotion and powder, but I still itch.

I'm anxious to start showing and feel movement, which I think will finally make this a reality, as if the morning sickness and ultrasounds didn't already.

Hope everyone's doing well. I can't believe we've only got 5 months to go!!

I think you are too kind. Kind people give the people around them a hard time. You can't express yourself honestly, because you are worried about hurting other people's feelings, and that makes you miserable.~"Winter Sonata"

Glad everyone is excited about the baby and that your NT scan went well. I think I finally started to feel movement this week and I'll be entering my 14th week on Friday. I can't wait till it's more than just the little flutters.

It's hard to believe that many are already well into their 2nd trimester. This is going so fast!

There is some kind of pregnancy rash that only happens to some people when you are pregnant. I forget the name of it but it is super itchy like you are explaining.

Call your dr so he can give you some thing to help with the itch. My friend had this rash her last trimester and was miserable! I hope that is not what you have and if it is you can get relief.

It is nice not keeping the secret anymore isn't it?
